Role Description The Sr. Architect role at SASW is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. This role is responsible for leading architectural design from concept to detailed drawings, coordinating with structural, MEP, and interior teams, and ensuring that design intent is maintained through all project stages. Day-to-day activities include preparing and reviewing design proposals, leading client presentations, managing design documentation, and monitoring project progress against timelines and quality standards. The Sr. Architect will guide junior team members, oversee coordination with consultants and contractors, and support site reviews to resolve design and construction issues. This role also contributes to master planning, design strategy,



and continuous improvement of studio workflows and standards. Qualifications
• Demonstrated expertise in Architecture and Architectural Design for mixed-use, commercial, residential, and institutional projects.
• Experience with Project Management, including planning, scheduling, resource coordination, and stakeholder communication.
• Familiarity with Integration of design disciplines (architecture, interiors, structural, MEP) and project workflows.
• Understanding of Software Development concepts as they relate to design tools, BIM platforms, and digital collaboration is a plus.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design and documentation tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit or similar BIM tools, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from a recognized institution; professional licensure/registration is an advantage.
• Strong design portfolio, attention to detail, and ability to translate client requirements into functional, buildable solutions.
• Effective communication and leadership skills, with experience mentoring junior architects and collaborating in multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and sustainable design principles relevant to projects in India.
