Role Description The Owner role at AlmaBetter is a full-time, in office position based in Solapur, responsible for overseeing the end-to-end operations and growth of the local AlmaBetter initiative. This includes defining and implementing business strategy, monitoring performance metrics, and ensuring that educational programs align with AlmaBetter’s standards for quality and learner outcomes. The Owner will manage day-to-day activities such as coordinating with instructors and staff, supervising learner engagement, and maintaining strong relationships with industry partners and local stakeholders. The role involves budget planning, resource allocation,



and compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. The Owner is also expected to identify new opportunities for expansion, foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, and represent AlmaBetter in community and industry events. Qualifications
• Demonstrated experience in business ownership, leadership, or operations management, preferably in education, training, or technology sectors.
• Strong strategic planning and decision-making abilities, with a track record of driving growth and achieving measurable outcomes.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills to collaborate with learners, staff, partners, and local communities.
• Solid understanding of tech education or related domains such as AI, Data Science, Software Engineering, or EdTech business models.
• Proficiency in basic financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource optimization.
• Ability to build and lead diverse teams, promote an inclusive culture, and mentor team members for high performance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Technology, or a related field; advanced degrees or entrepreneurial experience are an advantage.
• Willingness to work on-site in Solapur and be actively involved in local community and institutional activities.
