Role Description The Design Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area. The Design Engineer will develop and refine equipment and system designs that support waste conversion and recycling processes, using CAD tools and engineering principles to create detailed drawings, specifications, and models. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with mechanical and electrical engineering teams, evaluating design feasibility, performing calculations, and ensuring compliance with performance, safety, and environmental standards. The role involves working closely with manufacturing and operations to support prototyping, testing, and continuous improvement of products,



as well as preparing technical documentation and participating in design reviews with cross-functional stakeholders. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Design Engineering and Product Design skills to conceptualize, develop, and optimize engineering solutions.
• Candidates should possess Mechanical Engineering expertise to perform calculations, select materials, and support equipment design and performance analysis.
• Candidates should possess Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills to create 3D models, detailed drawings, and technical documentation for manufacturing and assembly.
• Candidates should possess Electrical Engineering knowledge to collaborate on system integration, controls, and power requirements for equipment designs.
• Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Beneficial skills include familiarity with waste management or process engineering, understanding of manufacturing processes, and experience with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, along with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, are key for success in this role.
