What you would do
• Design, develop, and deliver scalable, high-performance, and reliable software solutions that meet the needs of Chargebee's customers.
• Lead technical design discussions and make critical decisions that impact the direction of the company's product roadmap.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and operations, to understand customer needs and deliver high-quality software products and features.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and constructive feedback to other software engineers on the team.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest software development trends and technologies and apply them to Chargebee's product development.
• Conceptualize the future of billing, solve real problems for customers, and suggest new ideas and features.
• Recommend new technologies and influence the direction of product development.
• Analyze tasks and plan timelines to deliver features on time.
• Write modular and high-quality code, and strive for continuous improvement.
• Develop and set up automated test cases to ensure stringent quality standards are met.
• Empathize with customers and provide excellent technical support by interacting with them to understand their needs and address their concerns. What you should have
• At least 7 years of professional experience building scalable, reliable, and high-performance software applications.
• A proactive attitude and ability to take initiative and get things done.
• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
• Proficiency in Core Java, Microservices, Rest APIs, and Spring Boot,



with knowledge of popular Cloud platforms.
• Ability to write high-quality code and adhere to best practices in engineering, security, and design.
• Focus on automation and experience building CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders across the organization and take ownership of releasing new features.
