Role Description The Purchase Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at MARQ in Indore, responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities for the venue. This role oversees sourcing of beverages, food supplies, décor, technical equipment, and other operational materials, ensuring quality standards, timely delivery, and cost-effective purchasing. The Purchase Manager negotiates with vendors, maintains supplier relationships, and monitors inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstocking. Daily responsibilities include creating purchase orders, tracking deliveries, coordinating with operations, bar, kitchen, and events teams, and resolving supply issues that may affect guest experience. The role also involves analyzing purchase data, optimizing procurement processes,



aligning purchases with budget targets, and adhering to company policies and compliance requirements. Qualifications
• Strong procurement and vendor management skills, including experience in sourcing, negotiation, and contract management.
• Ability to manage inventory and logistics, including stock planning, ordering cycles, and coordination with warehouse or storage teams.
• Financial acumen related to purchasing, such as cost analysis, budget tracking, and price comparison to optimize spend.
• Operational understanding of hospitality or nightlife venues, with knowledge of bar, kitchen, events, and technical supply requirements.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with procurement or ERP software and basic office tools (spreadsheets, documentation, reporting).
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
• Prior experience as a Purchase Manager or in a similar role, preferably in hospitality, F&B;, events, or entertainment industry.
