Job Description
• Monitor and operate Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) and Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) processes to achieve prescribed discharge and reuse water quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with Pollution Control Board (PCB) regulations, consent conditions, and environmental requirements.
• Monitor and optimize chemical dosing, process parameters, and plant performance for efficient treatment operations.
• Carry out routine inspections and coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance of ETP/STP equipment, pumps, blowers, and utilities.
• Manage sludge handling, dewatering, storage, and disposal activities as per applicable guidelines.
• Maintain daily operational records, logbooks, chemical consumption records,
and performance reports.
• Collect samples and support monitoring of water, effluent, and sewage quality parameters.
• Supervise operators and contract manpower, ensuring adherence to operating procedures and valuable housekeeping practices.
• Ensure safe working practices, PPE compliance, permit-to-work requirements, and implementation of EHS standards.
• Support water conservation initiatives, treated water reuse programs, and continuous improvement projects to enhance plant efficiency and sustainability.
