Role Description The Maths Mentor is a full time, on-site role based in Karur, focused on supporting learners in strengthening their core mathematics skills for placements and technical roles. Day-to-day responsibilities include delivering engaging math sessions, clarifying concepts in areas such as quantitative aptitude and logical reasoning, and guiding students through problem-solving techniques relevant to placement exams. The mentor will design practice questions, assignments, and assessments, review student performance, and provide constructive feedback to help learners improve.



The role also involves collaborating with other mentors to align content with FACE Prep’s training programs, updating materials based on industry requirements, and occasionally conducting workshops or doubt-clearing sessions. A strong learner-first mindset and the ability to explain complex topics in simple, relatable ways are essential. Qualifications
• Strong foundation in mathematics, including quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in teaching, mentoring, or coaching students for competitive exams, campus placements, or technical assessments.
• Ability to design clear, structured learning content such as practice problems, quizzes, and concept notes.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to explain concepts in simple, student-friendly language.
• Comfort with classroom management and engaging diverse groups of learners in an on-site setting.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Familiarity with placement patterns of major IT and tech companies and common aptitude test formats is an advantage.
