10–18 Years Employment Type: Full-Time Job Overview Lovely Professional University is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Placement Trainer to lead and strengthen student employability initiatives through structured training, skill development, career readiness programmes, and industry-oriented learning. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in preparing students for corporate recruitment processes, campus placements, aptitude assessments, communication skills, interview preparation, and professional development. Key Roles & Responsibilities 1. Placement Training & Employability Development
· Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive placement training programmes for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
· Conduct training sessions on aptitude, logical reasoning, quantitative ability, verbal ability, and analytical skills.
· Develop students' employability skills through structured learning interventions.
· Prepare students for campus recruitment drives, competitive assessments, and corporate selection processes.
· Ensure students are equipped with industry-relevant skills and professional competencies. 2. Soft Skills & Communication Training
· Conduct sessions on business communication, spoken English, presentation skills, and interpersonal effectiveness.
· Train students in group discussions, personal interviews, public speaking, and corporate etiquette.
· Develop confidence, personality, leadership, and workplace readiness among students.
· Conduct mock interviews, GDs, role plays, and assessment-based learning activities. 3. Technical & Corporate Readiness
· Coordinate with technical trainers to facilitate domain-specific placement preparation.




· Develop training modules aligned with IT, engineering, management, BFSI, sales, and other industry requirements.
· Prepare students for technical interviews, HR interviews, and competency-based assessments.
· Keep training content updated with current corporate recruitment trends and selection methodologies. 4. Training Strategy & Execution
· Develop annual and semester-wise placement training calendars.
· Identify students' skill gaps and implement customized training interventions.
· Establish training benchmarks, performance indicators, and measurable learning outcomes.
· Monitor student participation, assessment scores, training effectiveness, and placement readiness.
· Introduce innovative training methodologies and technology-enabled learning solutions. 5. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management
· Lead, mentor, and manage a team of placement trainers and training coordinators.
· Coordinate with academic departments, faculty members, placement teams, and external training agencies.
· Ensure consistent training quality and standardization across programmes.
· Manage external trainers, consultants, and corporate training partners. 6. Performance Monitoring & Reporting
· Track training effectiveness through pre-training and post-training assessments.
· Monitor student readiness, recruitment conversion, and placement performance.
· Prepare periodic MIS reports, dashboards, and management presentations.




· Drive continuous improvement in training quality and student placement outcomes. Required Qualifications & Experience
· Master's degree in HR, Management, English, Education, or a relevant discipline.
· 10–18 years of experience in placement training, corporate training, employability development, or campus recruitment training.
· Proven experience in managing large-scale student training programmes.
· Strong expertise in aptitude training, soft skills, communication, interview preparation, and corporate readiness.
· Experience in leading and managing training teams.
· Prior experience in a reputed university, educational institution, corporate training organization, or employability-focused organization will be preferred. Key Competencies
