Sourcing Specialist

We are looking for a Sourcing Specialist (German Language Expert) who can support efficient sourcing operations, manage supplier engagement, ensure procurement compliance, and deliver cost-effective procurement solutions while collaborating with global stakeholders and suppliers. In your future role as Sourcing Specialist, you will:
• Manage end-to-end sourcing activities for indirect materials and services, ensuring compliance with procurement policies, sourcing strategies, and Delegation of Authority (DOA) requirements.
• Understand purchase requisition requirements, including service specifications, material requirements, and scope of work from internal stakeholders.
• Execute RFQ processes through AI-enabled procurement platforms such as Fairmarkit and Ariba to identify and engage suitable suppliers.
• Support timely procurement of materials and services while achieving cost reduction and cost avoidance targets.
• Act as a key procurement contact for stakeholders across multiple global locations and business functions.
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders, planners, schedulers, and suppliers to support sourcing activities.
• Utilize German language skills to communicate effectively with German-speaking suppliers and stakeholders.
• Ensure supplier compliance with Procurement-to-Pay (P2P) processes, including purchase orders, invoicing, and related procurement requirements.
• Facilitate vendor onboarding, vendor master data maintenance, and supplier extensions across company codes within SAP.
• Support vendor updates related to banking details,



tax information, addresses, contacts, and PO routing requirements.
• Assist in identifying alternative suppliers and sourcing options for obsolete materials and discontinued vendors.
• Monitor and support sourcing performance indicators, including Vendor Engagement, S2C Turnaround Time (TAT), Contract Utilization, and Operational Agreement utilization.
• Act as a subject matter expert for SAP procurement processes and related sourcing systems including Ariba and VIM.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sourcing efficiency, stakeholder satisfaction, and procurement performance.
• Support governance and compliance of Source-to-Contract (S2C) policies, procedures, and best practices. Great if you have

• Knowledge of procurement systems such as SAP ECC, VIM, Ariba, and Fairmarkit.

• Experience managing sourcing activities for indirect procurement categories.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, purchasing, or supply chain functions.
• Experience working with SAP ERP systems (ECC), VIM, and Ariba.
• Professional proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
• German language proficiency (B1/B2 level) is mandatory.
• Experience supporting global stakeholders and suppliers is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of procurement operations and sourcing best practices.
• Positive proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
