Job Summary We are looking for a Trade Operations Specialist with 2–3 years of experience to manage and oversee end-to-end trade operations, including raw material (RM) and packaging material (PM) imports, customs clearance, shipping to production sites, finished goods (FG) exports and imports, and customs clearance until delivery to receiving-country warehouses. The role involves coordinating with international vendors and suppliers, monitoring operational performance, ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements, and identifying opportunities for cost optimization and process improvement. Must-Have Skills
• Language Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Korean, Japanese, or Thai (verbal and written). This will be the first and primary criterion for candidate evaluation.
• Trade Operations Management: Understanding of end-to-end trade operations, including RM and PM imports, FG exports and imports, shipping, and customs clearance.
• Vendor Management: Experience coordinating with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, service providers, customs brokers, and suppliers.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Ability to track vendor KPIs, analyse operational data, identify trends, and perform root cause analysis.
• Risk Management: Ability to identify operational risks, analyse vendor performance, and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Process Improvement: Ability to identify and implement process improvements and operational enhancements.
• Communication & Coordination: Ability to communicate effectively with international stakeholders and manage vendor relationships and escalations. Good to Have
• Experience working with dashboards and reporting tools for vendor performance tracking.




• Understanding of duty drawbacks and opportunities for cost optimization.
• Familiarity with vendor cost comparison, consolidation, and negotiation opportunities.
• Exposure to digital solutions and workflow improvements in trade operations.
• Knowledge of contractual and regulatory compliance requirements related to international trade operations.

Key Responsibilities
• End-to-End Trade Operations: Manage operations covering RM and PM imports, customs clearance, shipping to production sites, FG exports, FG imports, and customs clearance until delivery to receiving-country warehouses.
• Vendor Management: Coordinate with 3PL providers, service providers, customs brokers, and suppliers to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and monitor service performance.
• International Communication: Communicate and coordinate with international vendors, suppliers, and regional stakeholders using the relevant language wherever required.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Track vendor KPIs and utilize dashboards and reports to identify performance trends, recurring issues, and operational gaps.
• Root Cause Analysis: Analyse historical data to identify vendors with frequent delays or compliance issues and conduct root cause analysis.
• Cost Analysis: Compare vendor costs and identify opportunities for duty drawbacks, cost optimisation, consolidation, and negotiations.
• Process Improvement: Recommend and implement process improvements and digital solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
• Vendor Relationship Management: Build and maintain robust relationships with key vendors, act as the primary point of contact for vendor-related concerns, and manage escalations.
• Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential risks in vendor operations, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve conflicts promptly.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Regional Procurement, Materials Supplier Management, IRTE, APSC Finance, Trade Compliance, and Operations teams to ensure seamless coordination across vendors and regions.
