Role Description This is a full-time, in office role for a QA/QC Engineer based in Srinagar. The QA/QC Engineer will oversee and implement quality assurance and quality control procedures across ongoing infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with company standards, client specifications, and relevant regulations. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing quality plans, conducting inspections and tests on materials and workmanship, monitoring construction activities, and documenting non-conformities with corrective and preventive actions.



The role involves coordinating with project managers, site engineers, and vendors to resolve quality issues, supporting internal and external audits, and maintaining accurate quality records and reports. The QA/QC Engineer will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support training on quality standards and best practices at the project site. Qualifications
• Strong Quality Control and Inspection skills to monitor materials, processes, and completed works.
• Robust Quality Assurance and Quality Management capabilities to develop, implement, and improve quality systems.
• Experience in Quality Auditing, including planning and conducting internal and external quality audits.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (civil, electrical, mechanical, or related discipline) or equivalent practical experience.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards, codes, and regulatory requirements for infrastructure and EPC projects.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality documentation with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in creating and maintaining quality reports, checklists, and documentation using standard office and QA tools.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional and multicultural teams on-site.
• Prior experience in infrastructure, transmission, railways, civil, or related EPC projects is highly desirable.
