Role Description The HR Business Partner (HR BP) at The Chennai Silks will serve as a strategic partner to business leaders, supporting workforce planning, talent development, and day-to-day HR operations. This full-time, on-site role based in Tiruppur involves managing employee relations, overseeing performance management processes, and ensuring adherence to HR policies and labor regulations. The HR BP will collaborate with managers to resolve workplace issues, guide disciplinary and grievance procedures, and foster a positive, inclusive work culture. The role includes implementing HR initiatives, coordinating training and development programs, supporting recruitment activities,



and maintaining accurate HR documentation and reports to support business decisions. Qualifications
• Strong foundation in Human Resources (HR) and HR Policies, with the ability to design, interpret, and implement fair and compliant practices.
• Experience in Employee Relations, including conflict resolution, grievance handling, and engagement initiatives that support a respectful workplace.
• Knowledge of Labor and Employment Law, especially Indian labor regulations, to ensure compliance and mitigate organizational risk.
• Practical experience in Performance Management, including goal setting, appraisal processes, and coaching managers on feedback and development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certifications are an advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to partner effectively with frontline staff and leadership.
• Ability to work on-site in Tiruppur, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to a fast-paced retail and textile workplace.
• Experience in retail, textiles, or manufacturing sectors is preferred, along with proficiency in HRIS tools and basic data reporting.
