ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Private Household Chef to manage daily meal preparation for a private family. The ideal

candidate will have robust practical skills in Indian and Arabian cuisines, understand halal food preparation and the food

preferences of the household, and maintain high standards of taste, hygiene, presentation, and kitchen organisation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare Indian and Arabian dishes for daily meals, family dining, and special occasions.

• Demonstrate proficiency in biryani, kebabs, curries, pulao, breads, grilled preparations, and other relevant regional or

Middle Eastern dishes.

• Prepare food in accordance with the household's halal requirements and dietary preferences.

• Plan menus around family preferences, dietary requirements, guest visits, and agreed meal timings.

• Manage ingredient procurement, kitchen inventory, food storage, freshness, and wastage.

• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, food-safety practices, and hygienic food handling.

• Coordinate meal schedules and service requirements with the House Manager.

• Maintain consistent taste, presentation, and timely service.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS





• Minimum 2 years of professional cooking experience.

• Strong practical knowledge of Indian and Arabian cuisines.

• Experience in a private household, luxury hotel, premium restaurant, or similar hospitality environment preferred.

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Hotel/Hospitality Management, including IHM backgrounds, preferred.

• Knowledge of food hygiene, kitchen organisation, and inventory management.

• Must be available to work in Hyderabad. Candidates from Telangana or Andhra Pradesh are preferred.

• Female candidates only. The client's stated religious eligibility is Muslim, Jewish, or Parsi community; applicants outside

these specified communities will not be considered.

• Telugu, Urdu, or Hindi communication skills will be an advantage.

PREFERRED PROFILE

• Reliable, discreet, organised, and attentive to detail.

• Comfortable working in a private residence and adapting to the family's preferences.

• Experience serving HNI/UHNI households will be an added advantage.
