ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced House Manager to oversee the day-to-day functioning of a private residence. The role

requires strong household operations, staff supervision, planning, service-quality control, and the ability to anticipate

household requirements. The House Manager will supervise the household Chef and Housekeeping Executive and ensure

that the residence operates smoothly, efficiently, and discreetly.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage daily household operations, schedules, routines, and service standards.

• Supervise the Private Household Chef and Housekeeping Executive, allocate responsibilities, and monitor task

completion.

• Maintain staff schedules, attendance, leave records, duty rosters, and performance records.

• Guide staff on service standards, hygiene, skilled conduct, and household protocols.

• Coordinate meals, guest arrangements, family requirements, and special occasions.

• Manage household inventory, groceries, cleaning supplies, linen, and other consumables.

• Coordinate vendors, deliveries, service appointments, maintenance, and repairs.

• Track household purchases, bills, basic expense records, and expenditure against agreed budgets.

• Resolve routine operational issues and escalate matters requiring the family's attention.

• Maintain strict confidentiality and protect the family's privacy.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS





• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in household management, hospitality operations, or a similar supervisory role;

5+ years preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to supervise staff and coordinate multiple household responsibilities.

• Strong organisation, communication, problem-solving, and people-management skills.

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Hotel/Hospitality Management from an IHM or comparable institution preferred.

• Experience in HNI/UHNI private residences, luxury hotels, serviced residences, or premium hospitality operations

strongly preferred.

• Working knowledge of procurement, inventory, budgeting, staff scheduling, and service standards.

• Must be available to work in Hyderabad. Candidates from Telangana or Andhra Pradesh are preferred.

• Female candidates only. The client's stated religious eligibility is Muslim, Jewish, or Parsi community; applicants outside

these specified communities will not be considered.

• Telugu, Urdu, or Hindi communication skills will be an advantage.

• Mature, responsible, service-oriented, and discreet.

• Able to take ownership of household functioning and ensure the Chef and Housekeeping Executive work as a

coordinated team.

• Comfortable exercising sound judgement and working independently.
