About the role
Chiron Data Labs works with frontier AI labs to build the hard, expert-written tasks that make models better at real engineering work. We're looking for practicing controls and modelling engineers to write and review problems that test whether an AI can actually do MATLAB/Simulink work.

What you'll do
• Write original, multi-step problems in modelling, simulation and control design (plant modelling, PID and state-space design, MIL/SIL/PIL workflows, embedded code generation)
• Create reference solutions and detailed grading rubrics
• Review AI model outputs and identify where and why they fail
• Review and improve tasks written by other experts You're a fit if you have




• 3+ years of hands-on MATLAB/Simulink experience in industry, research or teaching
• Solid fundamentals in control systems and signal processing
• Clear technical writing, with precise problem statements and reasoning
• A B.
E./B.
Tech or higher in EE, ECE, Mechatronics, Mechanical or a related field Nice to have: Stateflow, Simulink Coder or Embedded Coder, automotive or aerospace MBD experience, prior work as an instructor or trainer What to expect: Fully remote, async work. You pick your hours and are paid per hour, with weekly payouts. Work starts after a short qualification task.
