Senior Product Development Technologist – Bakery Premixes PCG Food Manufacturing Private Limited

Poman, Vasai East, Maharashtra | In office Employment: Full-time | 48 hours per week Start: As soon as possible PCG manufactures bakery premixes, concentrates and emulsifiers. We seek an experienced, hands-on professional to develop bakery premixes and ensure consistent batch quality. Independent technical problem-solving, teamwork, clear communication and accurate digital documentation are essential.

Key responsibilities
Product Development
• Independently develop bakery premixes.
• Plan structured trials, evaluate functional ingredients and assess properties.
• Investigate formulation and baking defects, develop practical solutions and verify their effectiveness.
• Organise development priorities and material requirements, communicate progress and escalate decisions requiring management input. Quality Control & Documentation
• Sample and test production batches against specifications through quality checks, baking trials and sensory evaluations.
• Maintain traceable QC records, identified retention samples, test methods and relevant SOPs.
• Digitally document formulation versions, ingredients, trial conditions, results, photographs and conclusions so others can understand and reproduce the work. What you bring
• At least 5 years of direct experience in bakery premix product development, supported by strong practical baking and formulation skills.
• Sound knowledge of flour functionality, emulsifiers,



enzymes and other functional ingredients.
• Ability to independently overcome development challenges through systematic investigation.
• Experience in batch QC, baking evaluations with accurate digital reporting.
• Personal accountability, sound judgement and reliable delivery with minimal supervision.
• Strong teamwork and proactive communication, with the ability to coordinate effectively across Product Development, Quality Control, Production and management.
• Clear written and spoken English, plus Hindi or Marathi.
• Relevant qualifications in Food Technology, Food Science, Bakery Technology or a related field, or equivalent professional qualifications and experience.
• Availability to work fully on-site in Poman, Vasai East.
