Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Coimbatore for a CNC and VMC Programmer and Setter. The role involves interpreting technical drawings and job specifications, programming CNC and VMC machines, and setting up fixtures, tools, and workpieces for production. The professional will be responsible for performing machining and milling operations, adjusting parameters to maintain dimensional accuracy, and conducting trial runs and first-off inspections. Daily tasks include monitoring machine performance, identifying and resolving machining issues,



and collaborating with production and quality teams to meet delivery and quality targets. The role also requires maintaining equipment, following safety guidelines, and documenting programs and setups for repeatability and process optimization. Qualifications
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering blueprints, including tolerances and surface finishes.
• Strong CNC Programming skills, including G-code knowledge and experience programming CNC and VMC machines.
• Hands-on Machining and Milling skills, with experience in setting tools, work offsets, and performing precision machining operations.
• Practical Programming and problem-solving skills for optimizing machining cycles, tool paths, and production efficiency.
• Relevant technical diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.
• Experience in a precision machining or automotive/industrial components environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMM (if available).
• Attention to detail, adherence to safety practices, and ability to work collaboratively on the shop floor
• Min 5+ years of experience in programming and setting.
