Key Responsibilities
Fundamental Research
• Conduct in-depth fundamental research on listed companies across assigned sectors and companies.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models, earnings forecasts, and valuation frameworks.
• Analyze annual reports, investor presentations, earnings calls, channel checks, industry reports, and competitor developments.
• Publish detailed research reports, investment notes, and stock recommendations. Sector Coverage
• Maintain active coverage of assigned sectors and companies.
• Track industry trends, competitive dynamics,



regulatory developments, and macroeconomic factors impacting covered sectors.
• Develop sector perspectives and identify emerging investment themes. Stock Recommendations
• Generate high conviction Buy, Hold, and Sell recommendations.
• Monitor portfolio holdings and investment theses continuously.
• Recommend entry, exit, and position-sizing ideas based on risk-reward assessment.
• Review recommendations periodically and revise views based on changing fundamentals. Portfolio Support
• Provide research support to portfolio managers and investment teams.
• Contribute to portfolio construction discussions and allocation decisions.
• Assist in identifying new investment opportunities and risk factors within existing holdings.
• Present investment ideas and sector outlooks to internal stakeholders and clients. Required Skills & Competencies
• Strong expertise in financial statement analysis and business model evaluation.
• Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills (DCF, Relative Valuation, SOTP, etc.).
• Solid proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and research databases.
• Experience using Bloomberg, FactSet, Ace Equity, or similar platforms.
• Independent thinker with strong investment judgment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong attention to details Educational Qualifications
• MBA (Finance), CA, CFA, or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.
• Strong academic track record with demonstrated interest in capital markets and investing.
