About the Role
Position: Senior Design Executive – Kitchen and Restaurant (Design & Projects)

Experience:
5+ Years We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Design Executive to join our Design team at Rebel Foods. The role involves end-to-end design and technical planning of cloud kitchens and restaurant spaces, from initial site feasibility and layout development to detailed engineering drawings and execution support. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering,



with hands-on experience in space planning, kitchen layouts, and MEP coordination. The role requires an understanding of design principles, operational efficiency, and practical site execution. The candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders, project teams, and external vendors to develop efficient, cost-effective, and scalable kitchen designs while maintaining Rebel Foods' design and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities
● Kitchen Design & Space Planning: Develop efficient kitchen layouts considering operational workflows, equipment placement, storage requirements, ergonomics, and space utilization. ● Technical Drawings: Prepare accurate and detailed architectural, civil, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and kitchen equipment layouts using AutoCAD. Releasing GFCs to the vendors. ● Site Feasibility & Assessment: Conduct site surveys, evaluate technical feasibility, identify design constraints, and recommend practical solutions for new kitchen locations. ● MEP & HVAC Coordination: Design and Coordinate with consultants and vendors to ensure seamless integration of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, ventilation, and HVAC systems within the kitchen design. ● Design Coordination & Execution Support: Collaborate with project managers, contractors, vendors, and internal operations teams to resolve design-related challenges and ensure accurate on-site implementation. ● Documentation & BOQs: Prepare and maintain detailed design documentation, technical specifications, bills of quantities (BOQs), and drawing revision records. ● Design Standardization & Optimization: Contribute to the development and improvement of standardized kitchen layouts, equipment configurations, and design guidelines to enhance efficiency, scalability,



and cost-effectiveness. ● Project Delivery: Support project execution by addressing technical queries, monitoring design compliance, and ensuring timely resolution of site-related issues. Qualifications & Experience ●

Experience:
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in architectural, engineering, interior, or commercial kitchen design. ●

Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline. ● Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD is essential. Familiarity with 3D softwares like Sketchup, Fusion 360, etc. will be an added advantage. ● Technical Knowledge: Sound understanding of construction detailing, MEP services, HVAC systems, and coordination of technical drawings. ● Industry

Experience:
Prior experience in QSR, restaurant, commercial kitchen, hospitality, or foodservice design is preferred but not mandatory. ● Execution Exposure: Practical understanding of construction methods, materials, site conditions, and vendor coordination. ● Willingness to travel to project sites as required. Key Attributes ● Solid attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawings. ● Ability to translate operational requirements into practical and efficient designs. ● Proactive problem-solving approach with sound technical judgment. ● Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills. ● Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver within tight timelines. ● A continuous improvement mindset, with an interest in design standardization, cost optimization, and operational efficiency.
