Role Description This is a full time remote role for an Independent Consultant at Taxcart. The consultant will advise clients on implementing and optimizing Taxcart’s tax engine across their e-commerce, invoicing, and ERP environments. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing client needs, configuring integrations, providing guidance on tax workflows, and collaborating with technical teams to resolve issues. The role also involves educating clients on best practices, preparing documentation, and contributing feedback to improve Taxcart’s products and services.



The consultant is expected to manage multiple client engagements independently while maintaining clear, professional communication and delivering measurable outcomes. Qualifications
• Strong consulting skills, including stakeholder communication, requirements gathering, and solution design.
• Experience with SaaS products or cloud-based platforms, ideally in finance, tax, or e-commerce domains.
• Working knowledge of sales tax, VAT, GST, or broader indirect tax concepts is highly beneficial.
• Ability to understand APIs, integrations, and basic technical workflows between checkout, invoicing, and ERP systems.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in client deliverables.
• Comfort with remote collaboration tools and the ability to work independently in a distributed team environment.
• Prior experience in client-facing roles such as implementation specialist, tax technology consultant, or business analyst.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
