Role Description The Design Engineer HVAC role is a full-time, in office position based in Hyderabad. This role is responsible for designing HVAC air handling systems, including developing layouts, selecting components, and ensuring energy-efficient and application-specific solutions. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing design drawings, performing calculations and equipment sizing, and coordinating with cross-functional teams such as manufacturing, installation, and service to ensure design feasibility and quality. The Design Engineer will collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to refine product designs, support cost and efficiency improvements,



and ensure compliance with relevant standards and environmental guidelines. The role also involves supporting project documentation, addressing technical queries, and contributing to continuous improvement of design processes and tools. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Design Engineering and Product Design skills for HVAC and air handling systems.
• Candidates should possess Mechanical Engineering skills with a solid understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and HVAC principles.
• Candidates should possess Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills for creating detailed 2D/3D drawings and models.
• Candidates should possess Electrical Engineering awareness related to HVAC controls, wiring, and integration with building systems.
• Relevant bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline; advanced qualifications or certifications in HVAC design are an advantage.
• Experience in HVAC system design, air handling unit design, or building services engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or project-based environment.
• Ability to interpret standards, codes, and technical specifications, with attention to energy efficiency and environmental sustainability.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site with multidisciplinary teams.
