At Amaris Consulting, we're looking for skilled Application & Production Support Engineer to join a global financial services project focused on supporting business-critical data platforms. This opportunity combines Production Support, SQL/Database Troubleshooting, Python/Java Development, and DevOps practices in a complex international workplace. Your Responsibilities
• Provide operational support for business-critical data applications and services.
• Investigate and resolve production incidents, following ITIL practices.
• Perform database queries, data validation, and technical troubleshooting.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and/or Java.
• Troubleshoot application issues in Unix/Linux environments.
• Support software deployments, releases, and operational improvements.
• Create technical documentation and runbooks during knowledge transfer.
• Collaborate with global engineering and infrastructure teams. What We're Looking For
• 4–6 years of relevant IT experience in Application or Production Support.
• Strong SQL skills and hands-on database troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with Snowflake or comparable database/data platforms.
• Practical Python and/or Java development or scripting skills.
• Working knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.
• Experience with ITIL processes, incident management, and root cause analysis.
• Exposure to DevOps, automation, and software deployment activities.




• Fluent English and strong troubleshooting skills. Nice to Have
• Snowflake Data Cloud expertise.
• ITIL certification.
• Experience with Alloy, Slang, or other financial data platforms.
