Role Description The Senior Design Engineer will lead the design and development of aerostat and airship components and systems, with a focus on structural integrity, performance, and manufacturability. This full-time, in office role based in Nashik involves creating and reviewing detailed CAD models and engineering drawings, performing design calculations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in mechanical, electrical, and systems engineering.



The position includes guiding product design from concept through prototyping and testing, resolving design issues, and supporting integration and validation activities on the shop floor and test sites. The Senior Design Engineer will also support design reviews, and contribute to continuous improvement of design standards, documentation, and processes. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong skills in Design Engineering and Product Design.
• Candidates should possess strong skills in Mechanical Engineering and Computer-Aided Design (CAD).
• Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Engineering relevant to integrated aero systems.
• Experience with structural analysis, materials selection, and tolerance stack-up for complex assemblies.
• Proficiency in industry-standard CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar) and PLM/documentation practices.
• Background in aerospace, mechanical, or related engineering discipline; bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred.
• Experience in product development cycles, from concept to production, ideally in aerospace or defense-related projects.
• Ability to interpret standards, specifications, and test data, and to work effectively with manufacturing and R&D; teams on-site.
• Solid analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to lead technical discussions and design reviews.
