Role Description The Audit Associate role at Kurikkal Group is a full-time, on-site position based in Kozhikode. The Audit Associate will assist in planning and executing internal audits across departments, reviewing financial records, inventory reports, and operational documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies. Daily responsibilities include testing internal controls, verifying transactions, documenting findings, and preparing concise audit reports for management. The role also involves following up on audit recommendations, supporting risk assessments, and collaborating with finance, operations, and warehouse teams to improve processes and safeguard company assets.



The Audit Associate will maintain organized records, meet reporting deadlines, and uphold confidentiality and professional ethics in all activities. Qualifications
• Strong foundation in accounting and auditing principles, including familiarity with financial statements, ledgers, and basic taxation.
• Ability to analyze data, identify discrepancies, and interpret trends using spreadsheets and standard office software.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Transparent written and verbal communication skills to prepare reports and discuss findings with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work on-site, collaborate respectfully with colleagues, and adapt to a fast-paced trading and production environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional audit or accounting certifications are an advantage.
• Familiarity with ERP or inventory-management systems and basic knowledge of internal control frameworks is beneficial.
• Ethical mindset, integrity, and willingness to learn and grow within the organization.
