Role Description The Commerce Mentor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Tiruppur. The mentor will guide commerce students in core subjects, exam preparation, and placement readiness through classroom sessions, small-group discussions, and one-on-one doubt clarification. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and delivering structured lessons, creating learning materials and practice questions, monitoring student progress, and providing constructive feedback. The role also involves conducting assessments, supporting workshops and bootcamps,



and coordinating with other mentors and academic staff to ensure consistent quality of training. The Commerce Mentor is expected to maintain a supportive, inclusive learning environment and motivate students to achieve their academic and career goals. Qualifications
• Solid foundation in commerce subjects such as accounting, business studies, economics, and finance, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for learners.
• Demonstrated teaching, mentoring, or training experience, preferably with college or higher secondary commerce students.
• Effective communication and presentation skills, including clear explanation, active listening, and classroom management.
• Ability to design lesson plans, practice exercises, and assessments aligned with curriculum and placement requirements.
• Comfort with using digital tools for teaching, assessment, and reporting (e.g., presentation software, learning platforms, spreadsheets).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Management, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
• Strong organizational skills, reliability in meeting schedules, and a collaborative approach to working with faculty and staff.
• Interest in student development, career guidance, and continuous upskilling in current trends in commerce and business.
