Role Description The Resident Doctor (Gynaecology) will provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient gynecological and obstetric care, including history taking, clinical examinations, diagnosis, and management under the supervision of senior consultants. Daily responsibilities include monitoring admitted patients, documenting clinical findings, updating treatment plans, assisting in labor management, performing routine procedures, and supporting emergency care when required. The role involves participating in ward rounds, maintaining accurate medical records, coordinating with nursing and support staff, and ensuring adherence to hospital protocols and evidence-based practices.



The Resident Doctor will also engage in patient counseling, discharge planning, and contribute to quality improvement activities. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Saksham Hospital in Saharanpur. Qualifications
• Relevant medical qualification (MBBS) from a recognized institution; a postgraduate qualification or diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology is preferred.
• Valid medical registration/license as per applicable regulatory requirements.
• Clinical skills in gynecology and obstetrics, including patient assessment, routine procedures, and basic emergency management.
• Strong skills in patient communication, counseling, and empathetic care, with the ability to work with diverse patient populations.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with consultants, resident doctors, nursing staff, and other healthcare team members.
• Good documentation and organizational skills, with attention to detail in maintaining medical records and following hospital protocols.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and on-call duties as required.
