Role Description The Senior Accountant role is a full-time, on-site position located in Mysore. This role manages day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing activities. The Senior Accountant prepares financial statements, monitors cash flow, and ensures compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations. This role also supports budgeting, cost tracking for bakery and ice cream production, and financial reporting to management.



The Senior Accountant collaborates with operations and procurement teams to maintain accurate records and improve financial processes. Qualifications
• Strong proficiency in general accounting, financial reporting, and account reconciliation.
• Experience with budgeting, cost accounting, and inventory tracking in a product or retail environment.
• Knowledge of local tax regulations, compliance requirements, and audit preparation.
• Comfort with accounting software and spreadsheets; ability to analyze data and generate clear reports.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CA, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
• Prior experience in a senior or lead accounting role, preferably in food service, retail, or manufacturing.
