About the Role
We are looking for a technically proficient and detail-oriented professional to drive testing, validation, and certification activities for Statiq's EV charging solutions. This role will focus on ensuring that chargers meet applicable Indian and international standards, regulatory requirements, and industry safety guidelines. You will work closely with the R&D; team and external testing laboratories to validate electrical systems, prepare technical documentation, coordinate certification processes, and resolve testing-related challenges. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of EV charging technology, electrical and electronic components, and compliance requirements, along with the ability to manage multiple testing and certification activities in a quick-paced, innovation-driven environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Support end-to-end testing, validation, and certification activities for EV chargers in accordance with applicable Indian and international standards.
• Coordinate charger certification processes involving AIS 138, IS 17017, IEC 61851 and relevant sub-standards.
• Support compliance activities related to NABL-accredited testing, RoHS, WEEE, REACH, and other applicable regulatory requirements.




• Analyse and validate electrical and electronic systems, including power modules, switching devices, protection devices, controllers, MOSFETs, and rectifiers.
• Prepare detailed testing plans, requirement sheets, and validation documentation for the complete range of EV chargers under R&D.;
• Conduct and coordinate electrical, safety, electromagnetic interference (EMI), and environmental testing in accordance with applicable industry standards.
• Prepare technical compliance reports, test summaries, and certification-related documentation.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve technical issues encountered during charger testing and validation.
• Collaborate with R&D; teams to implement corrective actions and ensure products meet required performance and compliance standards.
• Develop and maintain testing and validation schedules to ensure timely completion of certification activities.
• Coordinate with external testing laboratories and certification agencies for test execution, documentation, and approvals.
• Maintain accurate testing records, certification documents, and compliance trackers for ongoing and completed projects. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in product testing, validation, certification, or compliance engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering,



Electronics Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
• Good technical understanding of EV chargers and their electrical and electronic systems.
• Knowledge of Indian and international EV charging standards, including AIS 138, IS 17017, and IEC 61851.
• Familiarity with NABL-accredited testing, RoHS, WEEE, REACH, and relevant certification requirements.
• Hands-on knowledge of electrical components such as power modules, switching devices, protection devices, controllers, MOSFETs, and rectifiers.
• Proficiency in using electrical testing and measurement instruments such as CRO (Cathode Ray Oscilloscope), Power Analyser, Multimeter, and related equipment.
• Understanding of electrical safety, EMI, environmental testing, and product validation processes.
• Ability to analyse testing results, identify technical issues, and support effective resolution.
• Strong documentation, reporting, and technical presentation skills.
• Positive communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple testing activities.
