Role Description The Program Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Chandigarh. In this position, the advisor guides prospective students and professionals through the process of identifying suitable academic and professional programs, explaining admissions requirements, and clarifying application timelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting consultations (in person, via phone, and online), assessing candidate profiles and aspirations, and recommending relevant courses and institutions. The advisor also supports candidates with documentation, application preparation, and basic query resolution, while maintaining accurate records in internal systems.



Collaboration with colleagues on outreach activities, information sessions, and continuous improvement of advising processes is an key part of this role. Qualifications
• Strong advising and counseling abilities, with a focus on understanding learner goals and recommending appropriate education and skill-development pathways.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with diverse students, professionals, and institutional partners in a clear and respectful manner.
• Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple inquiries, track admissions timelines, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Basic familiarity with higher education systems in India and abroad, including admissions processes, program structures, and eligibility criteria.
• Comfort using digital tools and CRM or database systems to manage leads, record interactions, and monitor application progress.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to evolving processes in a fast-paced education technology environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a background in education, counseling, or related fields is an advantage.
• Prior experience in academic advising, student counseling, admissions, or education services is preferred but not mandatory.
