Following significant growth, we are expanding our engineering team in India to support our next phase of expansion. Role Overview We are seeking skilled and experienced Control Design Engineer with strong technical expertise in the design and development of control systems for Power Transformers, Auto Transformers, and Switchgear. The selected candidates will be responsible for developing control schematics, RTCC and OLTC control systems, cooling fan controls, wiring diagrams, control panel designs, and engineering documentation while ensuring compliance with customer specifications and applicable industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop electrical control systems for Power Transformers, Auto Transformers, and Switchgear.
• Prepare control schematics, wiring diagrams, and detailed engineering drawings for transformer control panels.
• Design and develop RTCC (Remote Tap Changer Control) panels and OLTC (On-Load Tap Changer) control circuits.
• Develop control circuits for transformer cooling fans, temperature monitoring, alarms, and protection systems.
• Work with Current Transformers (CT), auxiliary circuits, and associated control and protection components.
• Support integration of transformer control systems with SCADA and PLC-based automation systems.




• Perform electrical load calculations, wire sizing, and selection of circuit protection devices.
• Review customer specifications, technical requirements, and engineering documentation.
• Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM), component specifications, and design notes.
• Select appropriate electrical components, control devices, relays, and accessories.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable IEEE, ANSI, IEC, and customer-specific requirements.
• Coordinate with Electrical Design, Mechanical Design, Manufacturing, Quality, and other engineering teams.
• Provide technical clarifications and engineering support to the USA manufacturing facilities.
• Ensure design accuracy, timely completion of engineering deliverables, and adherence to quality standards.
• Support engineering improvements, design standardization, and technical documentation. Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 4–10 years of relevant experience in transformer control design, switchgear engineering, or electrical control panel design.
• Hands-on experience in transformer control schematics, RTCC panels, OLTC controls, and panel wiring.
• Knowledge of electrical control circuits, protection systems, and electrical engineering drawings.
• Understanding of SCADA and PLC integration will be an added advantage.
• Experience in Power Transformer or Auto Transformer control design is preferred.
