Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Bookkeeper role based in Chandigarh, India. The Bookkeeper will handle day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions, posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, and assisting with the preparation of financial statements for international clients. The role includes working with various accounting software platforms, maintaining accurate ledgers, and ensuring timely completion of routine finance and accounting activities.



The Bookkeeper will collaborate with other team members to support client inquiries, follow established processes, and uphold OA’s standards for accuracy and confidentiality. The position requires strong attention to detail, consistent documentation, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. Qualifications
• Strong bookkeeping skills, including accurate recording of transactions and maintenance of general ledgers.
• Proficiency in preparing and reviewing financial statements and basic financial analysis.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software and comfort working with cloud-based tools.
• Solid understanding of finance principles and practical experience posting journal entries.
• Relevant academic background in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Ability to work on-site in Chandigarh, India, with reliable time management and organizational skills.
• Strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail, and commitment to data accuracy and confidentiality.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team environment.
• Prior experience in outsourced accounting or working with international clients is an advantage.
