About Paramverse Paramverse is a Mumbai-headquartered group driven by the belief that progress begins with ideas, discovery and a deeper understanding of the world around us. Its philosophy extends beyond conventional business thinking to explore questions that shape human progress, consciousness and what it means to be human. As part of this vision, Paramverse is preparing to bring Parmatma to the world—an ambitious, ideas-led nonfiction book exploring consciousness, self-awareness, discovery and the human experience. The Book Marketing & Distribution Manager will play a critical role in building the book's market presence, connecting it with the right readership and establishing a sustainable commercial and cultural footprint across relevant platforms, communities and distribution channels. Role summary The Book Marketing & Distribution Manager will own the marketing, go-to-market strategy and distribution journey of Parmatma, from audience identification and launch planning to channel partnerships, sales performance and sustained discoverability. This is a commercially oriented role that combines publishing knowledge, audience development, strategic marketing and hands-on distribution management. You will identify the book's natural readership, build meaningful relationships with relevant communities and institutions, and develop a phased marketing strategy that translates curiosity into readership and sales. You will also oversee the practical distribution ecosystem, ensuring that the book is available, discoverable and accessible across online and offline channels, while building a sustained presence beyond the initial launch.

Key responsibilities
1. Audience identification and market positioning
• Identify and define the book's target readership and key audience segments.
• Understand reader behaviour, interests and the communities where the book is likely to resonate.
• Identify relevant conversations, cultural movements, institutions and platforms aligned with the book's themes.
• Develop a clear positioning and audience acquisition strategy for Parmatma.
• Translate the book's central ideas into compelling marketing narratives for different reader segments. 2. Go-to-market strategy and launch planning
• Develop and execute a comprehensive, phased go-to-market strategy for the book.
• Plan pre-launch, launch and post-launch marketing activities to build anticipation and sustained interest.

• Drive initiatives around preorders, launch events, reviews, media coverage and ongoing readership development.
• Coordinate marketing campaigns across digital, offline and publishing channels.
• Build a launch strategy that creates long-term discoverability rather than relying solely on short-term promotional activity. 3. Distribution and channel management
• Manage the end-to-end distribution strategy across print and ebook formats.
• Coordinate online book listings, metadata, retailer relationships and platform availability.
• Build and maintain relationships with major online and offline book distribution channels in India.
• Manage stock planning, inventory visibility, fulfilment partners and distribution dependencies.
• Ensure timely availability of the book across relevant retail and distribution networks.
• Identify opportunities to expand distribution through independent bookstores, institutional channels and specialised retail partnerships. 4. Partnerships, community building and outreach
• Build relationships with bookstores, reading communities, podcasts, thinkers, institutions and relevant media platforms.
• Identify and develop strategic partnerships that can create meaningful readership and organic visibility.
• Drive outreach initiatives through relevant communities, intellectual networks and cultural platforms.
• Develop earned media opportunities through editorial relationships, interviews, reviews and conversations.
• Build authentic engagement around the book rather than relying on generic influencer campaigns or paid reach alone.
• Explore collaborations with organisations and communities aligned with the themes of consciousness, science, philosophy and human discovery. 5. Marketing campaigns and brand communication
• Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across relevant digital and offline platforms.
• Work with creative, content and design teams to develop compelling communication and promotional assets.

• Ensure consistency in the book's positioning, messaging and visual identity across channels.
• Identify opportunities for interviews, podcasts, panel discussions, book conversations and public engagements.
• Build a sustained communication strategy that keeps the book relevant beyond its launch period. 6. Commercial planning and performance management
• Develop marketing budgets, sales forecasts and channel-wise commercial plans.
• Monitor preorders, sales performance, channel conversion, discoverability and campaign effectiveness.
• Evaluate retailer economics, distribution costs, fulfilment requirements and marketing returns.
• Track earned media, community engagement and organic readership growth.
• Use performance data and market feedback to optimise marketing investment and channel strategy.
• Provide regular reporting on sales, distribution performance, marketing effectiveness and growth opportunities. Who you are
