About the Company
VIJAY COPOLYMERS, established in 1990, is a manufacturer of PP strapping rolls under the VIJAYCO® brand, specializing in strapping solutions for high-speed automatic packaging machines. We are establishing a dedicated Technical R&D;, Troubleshooting and Customer Support Department to provide technical assistance, develop service expertise, and improve customer machine performance. We are looking for an experienced, technically competent professional who enjoys solving complex machinery problems and has the potential to build and lead this department.

Key Responsibilities
1. Machine Troubleshooting & Technical Support
- Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and automation-related faults in industrial packaging machines.
- Troubleshoot automatic and semi-automatic strapping machines.
- Identify root causes of recurring machine breakdowns.
- Provide practical solutions to improve machine reliability and operating performance.
- Personally perform hands-on repairs and technical interventions when required. 2. Remote Customer Support
- Provide technical troubleshooting through video calls, telephone and other remote communication platforms.
- Guide customer maintenance teams through systematic fault identification and corrective actions.
- Maintain records of customer complaints, technical findings and solutions.
- Develop a structured remote troubleshooting process. 3. On-Site Technical Service
- Visit customer factories across India and internationally when required.
- Diagnose machine problems, perform repairs and recommend corrective measures.
- Conduct preventive maintenance assessments.
- Train customers on correct machine operation, troubleshooting and maintenance. 4.



Technical Training & Knowledge Development
- Develop practical training programs for internal service technicians.
- Conduct technical training for customer maintenance teams.
- Prepare troubleshooting guides, technical manuals, maintenance checklists and SOPs.
- Create a technical knowledge base covering machine faults, solutions and spare parts. 5. Research & Development
- Study different brands and models of industrial strapping machines, including STRAPACK and other packaging automation equipment.
- Investigate recurring machine failures and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Research machine mechanisms, electrical systems, sensors, controllers and spare parts.
- Develop standardized diagnostic and preventive-maintenance procedures. 6. Department Development & Leadership
- Establish the technical support department from the ground up.
- Develop service processes, documentation, training systems and performance standards.
- Build technical capabilities for remote and on-site customer support.
- Support future recruitment, training and development of technical service engineers.
- Take ownership of technical problem resolution and customer service quality. Candidate Requirements Essential Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in industrial packaging automation machinery.
- ITI qualification in Electrical or Mechanical trade, or higher technical qualification.
- Strong practical knowledge of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Experience diagnosing industrial machine breakdowns independently.
- Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams and understand mechanical assemblies.




- Familiarity with sensors, motors, pneumatic systems and industrial controls.
- Willingness to travel extensively for customer support.
- Ability to communicate technical instructions clearly.
- Strong problem-solving ability and a customer-oriented approach. Preferred Experience
- Automatic strapping machines
- Corrugated packaging, printing, logistics or industrial packaging machinery.
- PLC-based automation, PCBs, sensors and electrical control panels.
- Preventive maintenance and root-cause analysis.
- Training junior technicians or customer maintenance personnel.
