Key Responsibilities

- Handle complex technical escalations from Tier 1 support teams.
- Troubleshoot VoIP, SIP registration, call routing, call quality, and network-related issues.
- Analyze SIP traces, packet captures (PCAPs), and platform logs.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting across LAN/WAN networks and voice platforms.
- Diagnose issues related to SIP flows, RTP, DTMF, QoS, and codec negotiations.
- Coordinate with Tier 3, Voice Engineering, and Advanced Operations teams for complex issues.
- Manage technical cases, ensure SLA compliance, and provide timely customer updates.
- Perform root cause analysis and identify recurring technical issues.
- Maintain detailed troubleshooting documentation and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Mentor and support Tier 1 engineers with advanced troubleshooting techniques.



Mandatory Skills &

Requirements:

- Minimum 2+ years of experience in Technical Support or Network Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of Networking – Layer 2 & Layer 3.
- Hands-on experience with TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, routing, switching, and networking hardware.
- Strong understanding of VoIP technologies, SIP, RTP, DTMF, and QoS.
- Experience in SIP troubleshooting, call flows, and call quality analysis.
- CCNA, Network+, or equivalent networking certification, or demonstrated equivalent experience is mandatory.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Good to Have:
- Experience with Cisco networking equipment.
- Knowledge of OSPF/BGP routing protocols.
- Experience analyzing SIP traces and PCAP files.
- Familiarity with BroadWorks/BroadSoft hosted voice platforms.
- Experience supporting enterprise customers in a Tier 2/Tier 3 support environment. Important: This is an experienced-hire requirement. Freshers are not eligible.
