Role Description The DevOps Engineer role at Strategy is a full time, on-site position based in Chennai. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure provisioning, and ensuring reliable deployments across environments. The DevOps Engineer collaborates with software development and system administration teams to optimize performance, monitor systems, and troubleshoot issues in Linux-based environments. Daily responsibilities include managing Infrastructure as Code, enhancing observability and logging,



improving build and release processes, and supporting security and compliance requirements. The role also includes contributing to best practices, documentation, and continuous improvement of DevOps workflows. Qualifications
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and practices for automating and managing cloud or on-premise environments.
- Proficiency in Software Development concepts and scripting languages to build, integrate, and support DevOps tooling and workflows.
- Hands-on expertise in Continuous Integration and delivery pipelines, including build automation, testing, and deployment orchestration.
- Solid background in System Administration and Linux, including configuration, performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) and security best practices for production systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and work in a fast-paced, highly technical environment.
