Role Description This is a full-time, in office Drone Developer role based in Chennai. The Drone Developer will design, develop, and integrate hardware and software components for UAVs and drones, ensuring reliability, performance, and safety for agricultural, industrial, and consumer applications. Responsibilities include building and testing drone prototypes, implementing flight control algorithms, optimizing navigation and payload systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in robotics,



electronics, and software engineering. The role also involves troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, participating in field trials and flight tests, and continuously improving drone platforms based on user feedback and regulatory requirements. The Drone Developer will contribute to documentation, adherence to compliance standards, and support training and knowledge-sharing within the engineering team. Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong knowledge in Robotics and UAV systems, including embedded control, sensors, and autonomous navigation.
- Candidates should possess hands-on experience with Drones and Drone Piloting, including flight testing, safety protocols, and operational best practices.
- Candidates should possess Software Development skills, including programming in languages such as C/C++, Python, or ROS, and experience with firmware or control software.
- Candidates should possess a solid understanding of electronics, mechatronics, or aerospace principles relevant to drone design and integration.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (e.g., Robotics, Aerospace, Electronics, Computer Science, or related field) or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with simulation tools, CAD, or PCB design, and familiarity with DGCA or other aviation regulations will be an advantage.
