Minimum 5 Years Qualification: MS / DNB – Obstetrics & Gynaecology Employment Type: Full-time Job Overview A well-reputed multispeciality hospital in Sehore, Madhya Pradesh, is urgently looking for an experienced and clinically proficient Consultant Gynecologist to lead patient care across Obstetrics and Gynaecology services. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in managing routine as well as complicated obstetric and gynaecological cases, with the ability to independently handle OPD consultations, deliveries, LSCS procedures, high-risk pregnancies and major gynaecological surgeries. We are looking for a dedicated specialist with excellent clinical judgement, surgical confidence and a patient-centric approach who can contribute to the growth and smooth functioning of the department.
Key Responsibilities
1. Obstetrics & Maternity Care
- Independently manage antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal patients.
- Handle normal vaginal deliveries and LSCS procedures independently.
- Evaluate and manage high-risk pregnancies and complicated obstetric cases.
- Manage obstetric emergencies and make timely clinical decisions.
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being and ensure appropriate patient care. 2. Gynaecological Care & Surgical Expertise
- Independently diagnose and manage routine and complicated gynaecological conditions.
- Perform major gynaecological surgeries, including hysterectomy and other relevant procedures.
- Manage cases related to uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, menstrual disorders and other women's health conditions.
- Evaluate and manage emergency gynaecological cases.
- Demonstrate sound surgical judgement and confidence in handling operative cases. 3. OPD & Department Management
- Conduct regular OPD consultations and provide appropriate treatment plans.
- Manage inpatient cases, surgical procedures and post-operative follow-ups.
- Coordinate effectively with anaesthesia, nursing and other clinical departments.
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
- Ensure quality patient care and adherence to established clinical protocols. Candidate Requirements
- MS / DNB in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant clinical experience.
- Proven expertise in independently handling major obstetric and gynaecological cases.
- Strong hands-on experience in LSCS, normal deliveries and major gynaecological surgeries.
- Ability to manage high-risk pregnancies and obstetric emergencies.
- Excellent clinical decision-making and patient management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
