The platform offers a gamified, quiz-first experience that tests deep knowledge of African proverbs, traditions, rites of passage, festivals, folklore, and customs. Designed for Africans and the diaspora, Superfan.ng aims to make cultural learning engaging, interactive, and accessible. The team is passionate about preserving and celebrating African heritage through modern digital experiences. Role Description The Motion Graphic Designer will create engaging motion graphics and visual assets that bring Superfan.ng’s educational content and brand stories to life. Day-to-day responsibilities include conceptualizing and designing animations for app content, social media, marketing campaigns, and product presentations, as well as collaborating with content, product, and marketing teams to translate ideas into compelling visual narratives. The role involves producing video and motion content optimized for digital platforms, maintaining brand consistency across all visuals, and iterating on designs based on feedback and performance data. This is a full-time, remote role, requiring proactive communication,



strong time management, and the ability to work effectively with a distributed team. Qualifications
- Strong skills in Motion Design and Motion Graphics for digital products and marketing content.
- Experience with Video Production, including editing, compositing, and optimizing video for online platforms.
- Proficiency in Graphic Design and Graphics creation for web, mobile, and social media.
- Advanced knowledge of industry-standard tools (e.g., After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar).
- Ability to interpret creative briefs, develop storyboards, and produce explicit visual narratives.
- Familiarity with edtech, gaming, or culturally focused products is an advantage, especially related to African content.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating motion graphics and design work for digital audiences.
- Effective communication skills and experience collaborating in remote, cross-functional teams.
- Relevant education or equivalent professional experience in Motion Design, Digital Media, Graphic Design, or related fields.
