We Are Not Hiring Interns. We Are Building a Founding Team. Remote
· 3 Open Roles
· 6-12 Months
· Commission + Equity
· No Fixed Salary to Start What We Are Building BEACON is an AI brand visibility platform. We measure how visible your brand is across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, and Google AI
- returning an AI Visibility Score, competitor intelligence, a hallucination detection report, and a prioritized fix playbook. Think Google Analytics, but for AI discovery. The product is live. The first customers are paying. Now we need to scale it. usebeacon.in The Opportunity We are a team of one founder looking for three people to complete the founding unit. Not interns. Not assistants. Co-builders. You will join at the ground floor of an AI startup with a live product and a market that did not exist two years ago. You will own your domain, earn a commission on what you bring in or ship, and receive meaningful equity when we hit traction. If BEACON becomes what we believe it can, you will have been here from the start. That matters. The Three RolesRole 1
- GTM and Growth Co-builder You own customer acquisition. You figure out who needs BEACON, reach them, convert them, and keep them. You own the pipeline, the content, and the experiments. What you will do:
- Build and run outbound campaigns targeting brand managers, CMOs, and founders at D2C brands, SaaS companies, and agencies
- Own BEACON's LinkedIn presence
- content, engagement, and follower growth
- Research and build qualified prospect lists by customer segment
- Onboard trial users, collect feedback, and bring product insights back to the team
- Run acquisition experiments and report what works with data Who you are: MBA student or final-year undergrad in marketing or business. You write well, work without a script, and want to own a number
- not support someone else's. Role 2
- Engineering Co-builder You own the product from the inside. You build features, fix what breaks, and push the platform forward
- working directly with the founder and the GTM co-builder to ship what customers actually need. What you will do:
- Build and ship features on the BEACON platform (Next.js, TypeScript, Supabase)
- Improve the audit pipeline, scoring engine, and dashboard
- Turn customer feedback into product decisions with the GTM co-builder
- Own specific modules end-to-end from design to deployment
- Test every feature you ship
- own QA so nothing broken reaches a paying customer Who you are: Engineering student or recent grad comfortable with TypeScript and React. You build and test your own work
- no separate QA, no hand-holding. Interest in AI APIs and LLM integrations is a strong plus. Role 3
- Product Management Co-builder You own the product thinking. You sit between the customer, the GTM co-builder, and the engineer
- translating what people need into what gets built, and making sure what gets built actually moves the needle. What you will do:
- Run user interviews with early customers and turn insights into actionable product decisions
- Own and maintain the product backlog
- prioritize what gets built next and why
- Write clear feature specs so the engineering co-builder always has something well-defined to build against
- Define and track the metrics that matter: audit completion rate, feature adoption, retention, drop-off
- Work with the GTM co-builder on positioning, pricing experiments, and onboarding flow improvements Who you are: MBA student or final-year undergrad who wants to break into product management. You think in user problems, not feature lists. You can write a clear one-pager, run a structured conversation, and prioritize ruthlessly. Bonus: you have used or analyzed a SaaS product and can talk about what made it work or fail. What You Get
- Commission from day one: 20% of revenue from every customer you directly bring in (GTM role) or defined product milestones you ship (Engineering role)
- Founding team credit: Your name is on what gets built. When we talk to investors, you are part of the story.
- Meaningful equity: Discussed and documented at offer stage. This is not a vague promise.
- Path to full time: At the 6-month mark,
if the product is growing, you get the first offer for a full-time paid role at market salary.
- Direct access to the founder: Weekly 1:1s. No middle layers, no bureaucracy.
- Real portfolio work: You ship things people use and pay for. Terms
- Duration: 6-12 months
- Commitment: 20-25 hours per week minimum
-
Location:
Remote (India)
- Fixed

None to start. Commission and equity are the structure.
- Equity: Discussed at offer stage based on role, tenure, and performance
