Role & responsibilities 1. Strategic Land Identification & Acquisition: Target Identification: Identify potential land targets based on the company’s broader growth strategy and pre-feasibility selection parameters. © Cost & Time Efficiency: Execute land acquisitions ensuring strict adherence to timelines and optimal cost efficiency. © Plant & Mining Acquisitions: Drive land acquisition for mother plants / Integrated Units (IU) encompassing both plant and mining areas. © GU Evaluation: Lead the identification, evaluation, and seamless acquisition of sites for Grinding Units (GU). © Limestone Blocks: Acquire mining land for all-India limestone blocks specifically through the surface right route. 2. Compliance, Due Diligence & SOPs: © Regulatory Compliance: Ensure total compliance with land acquisition laws, including the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement (LARR) Act, 2013, and respective state regulations. © Due Diligence: Oversee comprehensive Title Search Reports (TSR) and legal due diligence for risk-free procurement. © SOP Adherence: Ensure all acquisition, clearance, and operational activities strictly follow internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). 3. Government Liaison & Clearances: © Regulatory Approvals: Work closely with government agencies to secure all clearance permissions related to greenfield projects. © Forest & Environmental: Manage the end-to-end process for complex regulatory approvals, prioritizing critical forest clearances. © Public Hearings: Organize, facilitate, and successfully navigate public hearings. © Industry Networking:



Establish and maintain connections with industry associations and build strong government networks for faster regulatory clearances. 4. Stakeholder & Vendor Management: © Corporate Alignment: Work closely with internal stakeholders at the Head Office (Legal, Finance, Corporate Affairs, Projects) to ensure the seamless execution of land purchases. © Local Coordination: Coordinate actively with local stakeholders—including Unit Heads, local legal teams, and plant corporate affairs—to guide and assist them in site-level land purchases. © Negotiation & Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with landowners, aggregators, and community stakeholders to ensure a smooth, conflict-free acquisition process. © SAP & Commercial Operations: Manage vendor onboarding and operations within SAP. Streamline payment coordination and maintain accurate MIS dashboards for senior management review. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure 100% compliance with land acquisition laws, specifically “ to secure surface minor rights as state land regulations”. Process Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to internal company policies and corporate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Greenfield Clearances: Work closely with government agencies to secure all regulatory approvals, permissions, and NOCs required for greenfield projects. Forest & Environmental Clearances: Manage the end-to-end process for obtaining complex regulatory approvals, prioritizing critical approvals. Public Hearings: Organize, facilitate, and successfully navigate mandatory public hearings. External Networking: Connect with government bodies, and revenue departments to accelerate regulatory clearance timelines. Internal Coordination (HO & Plant): Collaborate closely with Head Office internal stakeholders—including Legal, Finance, Corporate Affairs, and Projects teams—to ensure seamless execution of land purchases. Coordinate with and guide local stakeholders (Unit Heads, local legal teams, and land teams) to streamline site-level acquisitions. Stakeholder Negotiation: Develop and maintain strong relationships with landowners, aggregators, and local communities to ensure smooth, conflict-free acquisition processes. SAP & Commercial Operations: Manage vendor onboarding, tracking, and commercial workflows within SAP. Financial & Data Management: Oversee payment coordination for landowners and vendors, while maintaining accurate “MIS dashboards” for senior leadership review.
