Job Description

Global Talent Square is hiring experienced and compassionate Aged Care Workers / Healthcare Assistants for employment opportunities in New Zealand.

We are looking for dedicated healthcare professionals who can provide quality care and support to elderly individuals, helping them maintain their comfort, dignity, safety and independence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist elderly residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming and personal hygiene.
2. Provide support with mobility, walking and transferring.
3. Assist residents with feeding and meal-related activities.
4. Monitor residents' general health and report any changes to senior healthcare staff.
5. Provide emotional support and companionship.
6. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in residents' living areas.
7.



Follow infection control and safety procedures.
8. Maintain proper care records and follow individual care plans.
9. Work collaboratively with nurses and other healthcare professionals.

Candidate Requirements

1. Previous experience in aged care, elderly care or healthcare assistance.
2. Relevant healthcare qualification or certification preferred.
3. Good English communication skills.
4. Knowledge of basic patient care and hygiene practices.
5. Ability to work in shifts, including weekends.
6. Compassionate, responsible and patient-centred approach.
7. Valid passport.
8. Must meet applicable New Zealand work visa and employment requirements.

Salary & Benefits
