Role & responsibilities

Role Purpose

The Deputy Manager / Manager Admissions & Outreach will be responsible for driving student admissions and outreach initiatives for NAMTECHs academic programs. The role will focus on building a strong prospective-student pipeline, managing the admissions funnel, developing institutional and channel partnerships, and ensuring achievement of enrolment targets.

Key Responsibilities

Admissions & Enrolment

- Drive the end-to-end admissions cycle from lead generation and counselling to application, selection and enrolment.
- Work towards achievement of program-wise admission and enrolment targets.
- Monitor the admissions funnel and improve conversion across enquiry, application, offer and enrolment stages.
- Counsel prospective students and parents on programs, eligibility, admission processes and career opportunities.
- Maintain accurate candidate data and ensure timely follow-ups through CRM/admissions systems.

Outreach & Business Development

- Develop and execute outreach plans across target geographies and student segments.
- Build relationships with colleges, universities, schools, coaching institutes, industry bodies and other relevant institutions.
- Plan and participate in education fairs, career events, seminars, webinars, campus presentations and counselling sessions.
- Identify new markets, institutions and outreach channels to strengthen the prospective-student pipeline.
- Undertake regular travel for institutional outreach and student engagement activities.

Partnerships & Stakeholder Management

- Develop productive relationships with academic institutions, counsellors and other admission ecosystem partners.
- Coordinate with internal academic, marketing and program teams for effective positioning of NAMTECH programs.
- Represent NAMTECH professionally during external meetings, presentations and outreach events.

Admissions Analytics & Reporting

- Track leads, applications, conversions,



enrolments and outreach effectiveness.
- Prepare regular MIS and admission pipeline reports for management.
- Analyse conversion trends and recommend corrective actions to achieve admission targets.
- Monitor competitor institutions, programs, pricing and market developments.

Team & Process Management

- Guide and coordinate with admissions counsellors/outreach team members, wherever applicable.
- Ensure adherence to defined admission processes, timelines and documentation requirements.
- Support continuous improvement of admissions processes, student experience and CRM practices.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualification & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree is mandatory; MBA/Postgraduate qualification preferred.
- Approximately 6–10 years of relevant experience in admissions, outreach, student recruitment, education business development or related roles.
- Experience in higher education, universities, professional education or technology-focused institutions will be preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in managing admission targets and student conversion funnels.
- Strong institutional outreach and relationship-building capabilities.
- Experience with CRM/admissions management systems and MIS reporting will be advantageous.

The individual should be comfortable owning enrolment targets, travelling extensively for outreach, building institutional relationships and managing multiple stakeholders in a rapid-paced academic environment.
