Role Overview

We are looking for a Junior Accounts Executive / Junior Accounts Officer to support our Finance & Accounts team with day-to-day accounting, reconciliation, documentation, and financial reporting activities.

The ideal candidate should have valuable knowledge of basic accounting, be comfortable working on Tally/ERP and MS Excel, and have strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day accounting entries, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments and journal entries.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and supporting documentation.
- Record and verify purchase and sales invoices.
- Perform bank, vendor and customer ledger reconciliations.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Follow up for outstanding receivables and maintain ageing reports.
- Verify invoices, bills and expense claims before processing.




- Assist in preparation of monthly MIS and financial reports.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.
- Assist with GST-related accounting and documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors, stores, internal departments and other stakeholders for accounting-related queries.
- Assist the senior accounts team during month-end and year-end closing.
- Support statutory audit and other financial audit requirements.
- Identify discrepancies in accounting entries and help resolve them promptly.
- Perform other accounting and finance-related tasks as assigned by the reporting manager.

Required Skills

- Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Working knowledge of Tally Prime / accounting ERP.
- Good command of MS Excel – basic formulas, filters, sorting and reconciliation.
- Knowledge of GST and TDS will be an advantage.
- Good numerical and analytical ability.

Qualification

- B. Com / M. Com / equivalent qualification in Commerce or Accounting.
