Role & responsibilities

Lead credit risk strategy and framework for unsecured business loans, aligned with risk appetite and regulatory requirements.

- Drive credit assessment, underwriting standards, risk segmentation, and portfolio quality.
• Ensure regulatory and policy compliance across credit risk and underwriting processes.
• Monitor portfolio performance, identify emerging risks, and drive portfolio optimization.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies for delinquency, default, and fraud risks.
• Partner with Business, Product, Operations, and Collections teams to embed risk into business decisions.
• Present key risk metrics, portfolio trends, and insights to senior management and risk committees.

Preferred candidate profile

This job role will require the incumbent to lead & manage the Unsecured BIL division of the Risk Policy function of the company by supporting the development and implementation of risk policies and strategies specific to unsecured business loans, contributing to prudent risk management practices while supporting the company's growth objectives.
