The position is with Payment Services and they are looking for CFO

Location Mumbai

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the finance and accounts function across all business verticals (Insurance Repository, KRA, RTA, Payment Aggregator, SEZ Online, NSR)
- Own the complete cycle of quarterly and annual accounts closing, including planning, execution, and liaison with Statutory Auditors and Internal Auditors through to finalization
- Ensure accurate accounting and reconciliation of Payment Aggregator / Payment Gateway transactions, including settlement, escrow, and nodal account reconciliations
- Ensure full compliance with GST Act provisions across all business lines, including returns, reconciliations, audits, and assessments
- Identify and address control deficiencies arising from decentralized data sources (i.e., accounting-relevant information not fully centralized in ERP/Tally), and institute controls consistent with Internal Financial Controls (IFC) requirements
- Drive implementation of new and revised Accounting Standards as applicable to the organization
- Lead, mentor, and manage a finance team of 710 individuals
- Oversee statutory, regulatory,



and tax compliance across IRDAI, SEBI, and RBI-regulated business lines
- Support budgeting, MIS, financial planning, and board-level financial reporting
- Interpret legislations, guidelines, circulars issued under Companies Act, SEBI-LODR, GST Act, Income Tax Act and importantly by regulators like SEBI, RBI and IRDAI and determine the necessary changes in Accounting, necessary disclosures and other consequentially arising requirements.
