Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Implementation Consultant based in Mumbai or Pune .The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end greenfield/brownfield SAP S/4HANA and ECC Finance implementations from business blueprint/Fit-to-Standard workshops and realization to data migration, cutover, and hypercare support. You will collaborate directly with CFO-office stakeholders, business process owners, and technical teams to design scalable, compliant financial architectures.

Key Responsibilities

1. End-to-End Implementation & Solution Design

- Conduct As-Is / To-Be business process assessments and lead Fit-to-Standard / Blueprinting workshops using SAP Activate or ASAP methodology.
- Design and configure organizational structures including Company Codes, Chart of Accounts, Fiscal Year Variants, Posting Period Variants, Profit Centers, and Cost Centers.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation: Business Process Master Lists (BPML), Key Data Structures (KDS), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), Configuration Guides, and Training Manuals.
- Lead Data Migration activities (LTMC / Migration Cockpit / LSMW / BDC) for master data and open items/balances, including GL, AP, AR, and Fixed Assets.
- Drive Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Cutover Planning, Go-Live deployment, and post-Go-Live Hypercare.

2. SAP Financial Accounting (FI) & India Localization

- Configure and deploy core FI submodules: New General Ledger (New GL) / Universal Journal (ACDOCA), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (New AA), and Bank Accounting.
- Set up Automatic Payment Programs (APP),



Electronic Bank Statements (EBS), Dunning, Down Payments, and Foreign Currency Valuation.
- Configure and validate India Localization & Statutory Compliance: GST (Input/Output Tax, RCM), Withholding Tax (TDS/TCS), E-Invoicing, E-Way Bill integration, and statutory financial reporting.

3. SAP Controlling (CO)

- Design and configure Cost Element Accounting (CEL), Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Internal Orders (IO), and Profit Center Accounting (PCA).
- Implement Product Costing (CO-PC) (Make-to-Stock and Make-to-Order scenarios, Material Ledger, Actual Costing, WIP, Variance Calculation, and Settlement).
- Configure Profitability Analysis (CO-PA) (Account-based / Margin Analysis and Costing-based) to support granular management reporting.
- Manage month-end and year-end financial closing procedures and allocations/assessments.

4. Cross-Module Integration & Technical Collaboration

- Configure and troubleshoot tight touchpoint integrations: FI-MM (Procure-to-Pay / OBYC automatic account determination), FI-SD (Order-to-Cash / VKOA revenue account determination), FI-PP, and FI-PS.
- Author detailed Functional Specifications (FS) for complex WRICEFW objects (Workflows, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) and coordinate closely with ABAP and third-party interface teams.





Required Qualifications & Educational Background

Highest Relevant Qualifications (Mandatory)

Candidates must hold at least one of the following premier professional or post-graduate qualifications:

- Professional Accounting: Chartered Accountant (CA ICAI) or Cost & Management Accountant (CMA / ICWA ICMAI).
- Post-Graduate Management/Commerce: MBA in Finance, PGDM in Finance, or M.Com from a recognized university/institute.
- Technical Post-Graduate / Engineering (with Finance Domain Experience): M. Tech / MCA / B.E. / B. Tech coupled with demonstrated hands-on expertise in core accounting principles and financial business processes.

Core Experience & Skills

- Implementation Track Record: Minimum 2 to 3 end-to-end full-lifecycle SAP FICO implementations (Indian domestic rollout/implementation experience is highly required).
- S/4HANA Expertise: Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance (1909 / 2020 / 2021 / 2023+), Business Partner (BP) CVI configuration, Universal Journal (ACDOCA), and Fiori apps for Finance.
- Domain Mastery: Solid command of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), IFRS, corporate taxation, and P&L; / Balance Sheet reconciliation.
- Availability: Must be able to join immediately or currently serving the final days of notice period (under 15 days) in Mumbai or Pune.

Preferred / Desirable Credentials

- SAP Official Certification in SAP S/4HANA Financial Accounting or Management Accounting.
- Exposure to SAP FSCM (Credit, Collections, and Dispute Management), Treasury and Risk Management (TRM), or Central Finance (CFIN).
