2. Key Responsibilities

Payroll Operations & Management

- Oversee and execute end-to-end processing of monthly employee payroll accurately and strictly on schedule.
- Validate all payroll inputs including attendance, leaves, new hires, exits, variable payouts, deductions, and reimbursements.
- Manage full and final (F&F;) settlements, gratuity payouts, and severance processings in compliance with organizational timelines.
- Collaborate closely with Finance & Accounts for timely salary disbursements, tax deductions, and ledger reconciliations.
- Lead internal/external financial audits for payroll and promptly resolve employee payroll queries.

- Statutory Compliance & Labor Laws
- Ensure 100% adherence to central, state, and local labor laws (PF, ESI, LWF, Skilled Tax, Income Tax, Shops & Establishment Act, Minimum Wages, Bonus, Gratuity, etc.).
- Ensure timely calculation, deduction, and remittance of statutory dues along with mandatory periodic return filings.
- Act as the primary point of contact for external statutory auditors, government inspectors,



labor officials, and legal consultants.
- Maintain all mandatory registers, documentation, forms, and audit trails required under applicable labor legislation.
- Continuously track regulatory changes to ensure internal HR policies and processes remain fully compliant.

- Compensation Structuring & Total Rewards
- Design, evaluate, and benchmark market-competitive compensation frameworks (CTC structures, pay bands, allowances, and variable pay models).
- Structure tax-efficient salary components for employees while maintaining full regulatory compliance.
- Lead annual market compensation benchmarking, salary surveys, and cost-to-company (CTC) impact analyses.
- Formulate and administer incentive programs, performance bonuses, long-term incentive plans (LTIPs), and benefit programs (health insurance, corporate wellness).

- Performance Appraisal Implementation
- Restructuring and execution of appraisal process
