Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with strong GCP expertise to join our team for a 3-month contractual remote prospect. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Java application development, cloud technologies, and Google Cloud Platform services.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java/J2EE technologies.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Design, deploy, and manage applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Work with GCP services such as GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Compute Engine.
- Develop cloud-native and highly scalable solutions following best practices.
- Troubleshoot application, performance, and production issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment processes.




- Ensure application security, scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Contribute to technical design and architectural discussions.

Must-Have Skills

- 7+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.
- Strong proficiency in Core Java, Java 8/11/17+.
- Strong experience with Spring Boot and Spring Framework.
- Hands-on experience developing REST APIs and Microservices.
- Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience with GCP services such as GKE, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, BigQuery, or Compute Engine.
- Good understanding of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Good understanding of cloud-native application development and distributed systems.
