Sage Technologies is looking for a skilled SAP FICO Consultant with hands-on experience in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules. The ideal candidate should have worked on global SAP implementations, support, or rollout projects and must possess experience working with African clients/customers.

The role requires strong functional expertise, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and provide SAP FICO solutions aligned with business objectives.

• Configure and support SAP FI modules including: o General Ledger (GL) o Accounts Payable (AP) o Accounts Receivable (AR) o Asset Accounting (AA) o Bank Accounting

• Configure and support SAP CO modules including: o Cost Center Accounting o Profit Center Accounting o Internal Orders o Product Costing o Profitability Analysis (COPA)

• Handle end-to-end implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support projects.

• Work closely with business users and stakeholders across multiple regions, particularly African markets.

• Conduct requirement gathering, gap analysis, solution design, testing, and user training.

• Support month-end and year-end financial closing processes.

• Coordinate with technical teams for SAP developments, interfaces, reports, and enhancements.





• Prepare functional specifications and project documentation.

• Resolve production issues and provide timely support to end users.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3-8 years of relevant SAP FICO consulting experience.

• Strong hands-on configuration experience in SAP FI and CO modules.

• Experience in at least one full-cycle SAP implementation project.

• Experience working with African clients or African market projects is mandatory/preferred.

• Valuable understanding of finance and accounting business processes. • Experience in integration with MM, SD, PP, and other SAP modules.

• Knowledge of GST, VAT, taxation, and statutory compliance processes.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to interact directly with business stakeholders and senior management. Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or related field.

• SAP FICO Certification would be an added advantage.

• Exposure to S/4HANA Finance is preferred.

• Experience in support, rollout, migration, or transformation projects. Desired Candidate Profile
