Role & responsibilities

- Design, develop and maintain Selenium automation scripts using Java.
- Develop and maintain REST Assured API automation suites.
- Build and enhance reusable automation frameworks.
- Automate functional, regression, smoke, integration and E2E scenarios.
- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze test failures and perform root-cause analysis.
- Validate API responses, status codes, headers and request/response payloads.
- Collaborate with developers and QA teams to identify and resolve defects.
- Participate in requirement analysis and test-case design.
- Maintain automation scripts, test reports and documentation.
- Contribute to improving automation coverage and overall QA processes.

- Selenium WebDriver hands-on UI automation
- Java strong programming and OOP concepts
- REST Assured – API automation
- API Testing – REST APIs, JSON/XML, HTTP methods and status codes
- TestNG / JUnit
- Automation Frameworks – POM / Hybrid / Data-driven
